Our Services – Compassion in Action

At The Food Pantry of Green Cove Springs, we provide emergency food assistance to individuals and families facing hardship in Clay County. Our services are designed to meet immediate needs with dignity, warmth, and respect—because we believe that no one should have to choose between feeding their family and other basic necessities.

Clients receive up to 9 food visits this year ‘26 with at least 30 days between visits (Previously limited to 6 visits annually)

What We Offer:

  • Emergency Food Nutritious groceries tailored to household size, available during regular distribution hours.

  • Support for Families with Children Kid-friendly items and seasonal extras to help families navigate school breaks and holidays.

  • Daily Support for Individuals Experiencing Homelessness We provide accessible food options and compassionate care to those without stable housing—every single day.

  • Holiday & Seasonal Distributions Special food drives and events to ensure families have what they need during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other key times of year.

  • Community Referrals Connections to other local resources for housing, employment, and long-term support.

All services are provided by our dedicated team of volunteers, with no paid staff—ensuring that every donation goes directly to feeding families and making a difference.

You’re welcome to come any day from Monday to Thursday from 10 AM to 4 PM, Friday and Saturday from 10 AM to 1 PM.

When you arrive, you’ll just need to fill out a form at the front desk with:

- Your name
- Address
- Phone number
- Names and ages of people in your household

- Dog and/or Cat

Please also bring the one (1) of following:

- ID
- Driver’s license
- Passport (US or Foreign)
- Any other form of ID

if your ID doesn’t have your current address, please also bring one (1) of the following:

- Bill
- Bank statement
- Lease
- Any other document that shows your current address.

You may visit up to 9 times per each year, with at least 30 days apart. If you come on any given day, your next visit would be 30 days after, and so on.

You can use your 9 times a year as you like, monthly consecutive or spread them out as you see fit.

We have Spanish speaking Staff on Saturdays and can help you in the process.
