Adopt-a-Shelf

Every day, neighbors across Clay County walk through our doors needing a little help, and leave with food, kindness and hope. Adopt-a-Shelf is a simple, meaningful way for your business, church, school or family to be part of that story.

Adopt one item from our family food bag and cover its cost every month, so that item is always on the shelf for every family.

Serving families throughout Clay County: Green Cove Springs, Fleming Island, Middleburg, Penny Farms, Maxville / Clayhill and Keystone Heights.

501(c)(3) Nonprofit · All donations are tax-deductible

1 · Choose a shelf item

Pick any item from our family bag. Each shows exactly what it costs to keep it stocked.

2 · Pick your schedule and method

Give weekly, monthly or quarterly. Fund it with a donation (we buy at wholesale) or bring the items and stock the shelf yourself.

3 · Take over the pantry for a shift

Pantry Takeover: bring a team, family or group of up to 8 for a full shift, Monday to Saturday, and run check-in, carts, advocacy, pick and pack, receiving and restocking. Middle school students and older are welcome with an adult. Elementary students may join a special tour with age-appropriate activities.
